Rob Georg
Very few would imagine a cowboy from germany, but rob georg just does not wear the label, he lives the lifestyle. He spent the first chapter of his life as a professional equestrian athlete in the discipline of cutting. Here cowboys work cattle from horseback, all in true country fashion. He has won various championship titles that have led him to participate in the highly endowed tournament, the world series.
For an entire decade georg was traveling across american cutting arenas with his trainer dean terry. With the many miles spent together on the highways, the two soon connected a deep friendship. When terry passed away in january 2018 and georg’s beloved soul horse "primetime shorty" also crossed the rainbow bridge just one month later, a world broke down for the cowboy. To clear his head, he decided to take a break from ranch life.
And so, the passionate amateur singer flew to nashville “music city u.S.A.” tennessee to work on his singing skills with a professional vocal coach kristin k. Smith (katie mac, jilian steele, casey derhak, smithfield, and josh dorr to name just a few).
Encouraged by her words, georg began recording his music and never looked back. His debut single "push that horn", a tribute which he wrote in memory of dean terry, was released in june 2018 and is still being played in every cutting arena in the u.S.
Since then, georg has released several country singles further demonstrating his songwriting talent, as well as his vocal prowess. Georg also knows how to captivate his audience live, whether on his first u.S. Tour from denver to seattle, on stages on nashville broadway scene or the biggest country music events in europe, such as the country music meeting berlin or the western experience in the netherlands - the cowboy casts a spell over the audience.
in 2020 georg’s debut album "radio cowboy" was released to much praise which to date has racked up more than a million streams on spotify alone. The official videos have been viewed over 2. 7 million times. So far, five singles have been released to radio, reaching an incredible number of 17 #1 positions on various u.S. Charts. His latest radio release "this old house" just spent two weeks at #1 in the u.S. National radio hits country chart and has made the jump to #1 on the new music weekly charts. Fans and music critics are equally enthusiastic:
• "... A great, very catching album, which is certainly one of the strongest "german" productions of the past 10 years ..."
country.De (germany's largest online country music magazine)
• "honestly, there isn't a sub-par track on the album, mostly because of the wealthy, enticing voice of rob georg, oh so appealing."
rawckus.Com (rawckus magazine reviews new releases in all genres of music)
• "... Raises the bar in terms of passion, dedication and commitment ..."
artistrack.Com (artistrack magazine evaluates new releases in all music genres)
• "rob georg's skills and talent is unquestionable and every song is more beautiful than the last" indiepulsemusic.Com (indie pulse music magazine reviews new releases of all music genres).
Georg had an insanely good year 2020 - with his album release, he not only celebrated chart placements, invitations to special live concerts, such as the country radio seminar in nashville in february, or streaming numbers - he also won his first international music award at the new music awards "breakthrough country artist of the year", and the fair play country music red carpet award in the netherlands "amazing male voice country pop original". So, it will not surprise you that georg and his co-writers are already busy writing tracks for the second album. 2021 he took the fpcm award home for the “song of the year”.
In his corona lockdown project, a spotify podcast called "country music ain't dead," of which the first episode was released in early december 2020, he supported other country artists from around the world by interviewing them and then introducing them to his 350,000+ social media followers. Management companies and artists were jockeying for interview slots on the bi-weekly artist talk.
But after all, he still is the cowboy that he used to be. Together with his wife mel georg, he runs a ranch in the odenwald forest, germany with horses, cattle, sheep and a bunch of border collies, which mel breeds and trains to be stockdogs. Asked why he's still doing the chores himself, georg answers "the animals are my life, and i can't think of doing something else. This is where i find my inspiration. This is what keeps me grounded."
Georg’s songs reflect the life he leads and the stories he lives to tell.

Woody Allen and jazz
Woody Allen is a passionate fan of jazz, he began playing clarinet as a child and took his stage name from clarinetist Woody Herman. He has performed publicly at least since the late 1960s, including with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band on the soundtrack of Sleeper.
Woody Allen and his New Orleans Jazz Band have been playing each Monday evening at the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan for many years specializing in New Orleans jazz from the early 20th century. He plays songs by Sidney Bechet, George Lewis, Johnny Dodds, Jimmie Noone, and Louis Armstrong. The documentary film Wild Man Blues (directed by Barbara Kopple) chronicles a 1996 European tour by Allen and his band, as well as his relationship with Previn. The band released the albums The Bunk Project (1993) and the soundtrack of Wild Man Blues (1997). In 2005, Allen, Eddy Davis and Conal Fowkes released the trio album Woody With Strings. In a 2011 review of a concert by Allen's jazz band, critic Kirk Silsbee of the Los Angeles Times suggested that Allen should be regarded a competent musical hobbyist with a sincere appreciation for early jazz: "Allen's clarinet won't make anyone forget Sidney Bechet, Barney Bigard or Evan Christopher. His piping tone and strings of staccato notes can't approximate melodic or lyrical phrasing. Still his earnestness and the obvious regard he has for traditional jazz counts for something."
Allen and his band played at the Montreal International Jazz Festival on two consecutive nights in June 2008. For many years he wanted to make a film about the origins of jazz in New Orleans. Tentatively titled American Blues, the film would follow the different careers of Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet.

TAPE FIVE
In 2010 they became renowned as the “pioneers of Electroswing”. TAPE FIVE had already navigated their way through many facettes of vintage/retro music since the foundation in 2003 by master-mind Martin Strathausen (favorite quote: „I did it my way“). For almost a decade TAPE FIVE have thrived on a mixture of beats using the means of modern times, but song structures, stories, atmospheres, arrangements and live musicians are all inspired from days gone by, when enthusiasm for music boomed and musical individualism was paramount.

Fronted by Nathan Waller, a popular DFW-based singer/songwriter known for his extraordinary vocal range and powerful delivery, the band is rounded by bass player David Cross and drummer Kenn Scott.

IdaLO
This is Swedish singer/songwriter IdaLO's first catchy single from her forthcoming 2024 album. It features Danish acoustic and electric guitar player, co-writer and producer Finn Olafsson, known from his recordings with artists like Anne Linnet, Pia Raug, Lars Lilholt, Ache - and known for his many instrumental guitar releases.
"Låt världen snurra" is written for IdaLO's daughter in her teenage years. It's a song about not giving in to FOMO (fear of missing out) and highlights the unnecessary haste that many of us experiences once in a while. With the question: where are we going anyway? Where is our end station?
And that everything we search for can be found inside ourselves.
IdaLO (aka Ida Linnea Olsson) appears on the Danish label and music publishing company Olafssongs.

Sam Huber
Sam Huber and the True Groove All-Stars lay down two very different sides of the Christmas canon with ‘A Soulful Christmas.’ First up is a fun and funky version of Albert King’s "Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin." Recorded and filmed during his live performance taping for UK digital broadcaster Stabal TV, Sam and the band, along with guests Jonathan Read and Su Robinson (from The Specials horn section), take the song beyond its holiday theme and create a groove that moves and transforms it into a timeless soul classic. "It’s a fun and sexy tongue-in-cheek bluesy soul piece," Huber comments. "When I started thinking about Christmas songs I knew I wanted to go outside the traditional box. I did some digging and found ‘Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin,’ and it jumped out at me right away. I sent it to Tomás (Doncker, Huber’s longtime producer and collaborator), who’s a huge Albert King fan, and he loved it. Having JR and Su on the track really gives it a Stax-y vibe that I love.”

Candance Woodson
This is a message she conveys stemming from her own experience and feeling after receiving her last cancer treatment at the Medical University of South Carolina. With the help of UK promoter Steve Ripley, who has worked on hits for Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Maxwell, and Jody Watley, “Free” rose to #12 on the UK Soul Chart Top 30. This success laid the foundation for a handful of other chart-topping singles, including “The Answer Is No”, a defiant female empowerment ballad. “The Answer Is No” hit #1 on the UK Soul Chart Top 30 and has continued to receive airplay on Smooth Jazz Radio as well as other top stations. Woodson received Billboard’s “Most Added” designation and a “Best International Artist” nominee. Her highly anticipated full-length debut album “Desire” includes her UK hits as well as new tracks that would become international fan favorites. “I’m so grateful for the opportunities I have had in the UK, and it’s exciting now to work with some of the best in the business in expanding my fan base internationally.” “I have stopped and started the musical part of my life so many times, but this time I will not stop no matter how things play out. To me, my music is very authentic, and it reflects everything I’ve gone through and the soul of someone who has loved music all her life “.

Buzz Kiefer
Chicago style horns and doo-wop BGVs make this entry into the Christmas repertoire, an extravaganza. There’s ear-candy here to satisfy the sweetest of sweet-tooths, tastfully undercut by the eye-popping irreverence of its lyrics.
Sleigh bells (drummer, James Rogan) and horse whinnies (Jimmy Bowland on saxophone) take the listener on a sleigh ride, but the riding whip, implies something more naughty.
'I wrote these lyrics at a Christmas Party,' says singer/songwriter, Buzz Kiefer, 'I asked everyone there to say something sexy about Christmas. Then I wrote the music like it was for a strip tease.'
Holiday traditions like figgy pudding and tree-top angels become metaphors for that strip tease.
Complete with angel-choir modulation in the final chorus, this slippery 6/8 groove proves: Christmas is for lovers.

UFA
"In the Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus)" the 1969 USA and UK #1 hit single by the American pop-rock duo of Zager and Evans, featuring Jake Lee Rau on lead vocals, has already caused a stir, not because it is innovative or original, but because it is -- in the middle of pop music's current creative void -- so immediate and imperative. It’s also built around the pillars of David Bowie’s China Girl and Afrika Bambaataa’s Planet Rock… but with more guitars.

Jeff Hartman
A prolific singer-songwriter and lifelong lover of music, Jeff Hartman has been writing and performing uniquely memorable music for over thirty years. He’s developed a soothing, guitar-driven melodic style that blends elements of smooth jazz and soulful, adult contemporary pop, earning him comparisons to artists like Brian Adams, James Taylor, and Richard Marx. What sets Hartman’s music apart is its tender, authentic vocal style, enhanced by his detailed narrative lyrics approach to songwriting. He incorporates Spanish into 3 of his latest releases, shifting the text to embrace both languages and appeal to an even broader range of listeners. His lyrics tend to focus on inspirational yet relatable themes: life’s blessings, the challenges of growing up, and the peaks and valleys of romantic relationships. “I write a lot about love, because love is so important! A number of my songs are written to and for my grandchildren and for their generation— instructional songs about the importance of apologizing when you’re wrong, how to forgive others, lullabies for the young ones, that kind of thing. I want to infuse my songs with love and the lessons I’ve learned in life.”
One of eight children, Hartman grew up in Moorestown, New Jersey, surrounded by music. His father was a jazz trumpet and clarinet player, and his grandmother was a child violin prodigy. Hartman was first drawn to the guitar at age ten, after witnessing a young church member and guitar virtuoso perform rock-ballad praise songs at a contemporary mass service. His father bought him his first guitar, and Hartman taught himself to play and sing along. He learned to play the trumpet and string bass in school bands, and later taught himself to play a little keyboard to support his songwriting. His strongest musical influences came in the form of classic 1970s and 1980s solo artists like Don McLean, Dan Fogelberg, and Carol King— artists whose music told rich, emotional stories that evoked a strong response in any listener.
After college, Hartman began a 30-year career teaching high school English and Spanish in Maryland, then to New Jersey, winning a number of awards for his unique, unorthodox teaching methods and dedication to his students’ development. As a tennis coach, he trained and developed hundreds of tennis players, many of whom earned NCAA Division 1 scholarships. He eventually built a successful business training junior athletes for the state, and international levels throughout southern New Jersey. “Tennis was my second passion and a good part of the reason my musical career took a turn in a new direction.” As various career opportunities arose, Hartman continued to play and write music on his own, and with which led to a serendipitous run-in with Philadelphia rhythm and blues legend Joe Jefferson. When Hartman was just 21, a chance encounter with the artist on a tennis court led to a lifelong friendship and decades-long musical collaboration. Jefferson became an important mentor and music industry guide for Hartman: “He taught me the ins and outs of the business”. “Most importantly, he taught me how to write great songs, and that it takes time, effort and selective use of words with power and punch. He was a model for excellence in songwriting. That’s why he wrote so many hits!” The two men met frequently to discuss music and write songs together, collaborating on the track "Young Love" (co-written with Randy Cantor) which charted on Billboard's "Hot Black" charts for five weeks, and the track “Guilty” performed by Starleana for Virgin Records.
Since that time, Hartman has become an internationally recognized songwriter and acclaimed recording artist with many well-loved releases under his belt, from the 2012 narrative pop-rock EP Curtain Call and the more acoustic-leaning 2017 EP Mansfield to his 2017 original full-length album Legacy. He was an active voting member of the Recording Academy for 15 years as well as a current voting member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists. As the owner of Screaming Wife Productions, LLC, he’s written over 50 original songs and released 7 albums to date, working with a range of Grammy-nominated writers and artists. In recent years, Hartman has been writing and recording with Kit Worton at Right Touch Studios in Northfield, NJ and Bob Fowler at SSR Recording in Smithville, honing his craft and fine-tuning his lyrical dexterity through co-writing a variety of music genres with talented local artists and producers.
Hartman’s skill and dedication to his craft have led to a steadily growing fan base and continuing recognition of his work as an artist. 2019 saw the release of the EP Average Joe, In 2020, Hartman released two new albums, 7 and Under Cover, as well as ten singles including both covers and new originals. His single “Cielito Lindo,” a Spanish-language track featuring acoustic guitar and vocals, just hit number one on Spotify’s Release Radar, as did his recent single “Sweet Johnny.” His music currently garners well over 30,000 Spotify streams as of this date and has amassed 500,000 spins on Jango Radio to date, as stream counts continue to grow daily. In 2021, Spotify’s “Release Radar” awarded Jeff 24, #1’s to date. With no plans to slow down, Hartman is poised to release “Jeff Hartman Acoustic Favorites,” a compilation of 27 of his most popular and current original songs. His music, including both originals and covers, can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
Jeff resides in Margate, NJ with his wife Paula owner of the Hartman Home Team, an award winning, nationally ranked real estate team.
