The Harbours

The Harbours are a dynamic indie-pop band known for their melodic tunes and heartfelt lyrics. Formed in 2024, the group has quickly gained a loyal following with their unique sound that blends modern indie vibes with classic pop influences. The band consists of lead vocalist Ollie Drakard and lead guitarist Will Massarella-Tyler. Will and Ollie met in their first year at University in 2020. They were locked down in halls due to the Corona-Virus restrictions. So, to pass the time, they would sing and play for hours with other music-loving friends. Forming a band, they gigged locally for their 3 years at Uni, racking up over 40 live performances. After graduating, Ollie and Will formed The Harbours and now release music full-time.

Best of Tape Five

Here comes a “Best of Tape Five” collection with swinging tracks they recorded between 2010 and 2023. These songs gained millions of streams on the usual platforms, and were included on and inspired hundreds of compilation CDs.

As their older CD albums are out of stock now, Tape Five decided not to re-press those but instead have bundled their favourite and best known Swing tracks on this edition, which is of course also available for streaming.

In 20 years Tape Five has released a variety of cool retro genres from Lounge to Electroswing – and in between performed live around the world from South America to Asia.

With new ideas they are currently working on their ninth album, and Tape Five will also release a “Best of... Lounge Edit” later this year.

Anouschka

Just in time for summer we present "Over Me" a breezy modern Bossa perfect for beach strolls and stargazing. Written, performed and produced by Anouschka in her home studio. Joining her on bass is Bruno Migliari from Brazil.

Anouschka says her purpose with song is to share “A place of peace and healing in an over-hyped world where we can just hang. Sometimes it’s okay not to resolve or go anywhere”.

"Just a normal guy doing a normal job who always dreamed of being a rock star. My songs are influenced by personal experiences as well as being a narrative on what I've seen in the world around me. 

I'm a singer songwriter who penned a bundle of songs a few years ago and now I'm keen on others to hear them and hopefully have their lives touched by them. I remember how certain songs would be on repeat in my headphones as a child and I'd listen to them over and over, feeling myself change and evolve with each repetition. I'd be honoured if any of my songs had the same effect on someone else. I like to think that my music is a bit of a throwback to the late 80s and early 90s with some guitar driven ballads as well as some tracks that will hopefully get your foot tapping and head bobbing!

Lauren Minear

Lauren Minear is a critically-acclaimed indie folk-pop singer-songwriter, licensed psychotherapist, and mother based in New York.
