Marvin Urias

From a young age on music has been my inspiration, my passion, my first love. At the age of fourteen I started writing and composing my own songs. With hard-earned money I build my own studio in which I couldspend weeks working non-stop on my own productions. I amfortunate I could spend my childhood with music. For a half year I studied at a Dutch academy of music, but the theoretical approach of composing and arranging just didn't inspireme. I wanted to do my own thing and create my own vibe. Icontinued to compose, write, sing and produce my own songs. Usingpseudonyms I produced for several labels. Through the years my style developed and reflected more of me: softly, congenial, driven by emotions. My songs are mostly inspiredby love.

Most songs are autobiographic, others are inspired bysociety. I compose my music on the piano and songs are furtherproduced in my studio. Everything is recorded in real-time on a 32 multitracker. All drums, flutes and keyboard sets are also played and recorded by me. It isimportant for me that my music comes from craft, sounds organic andholds the emotions I want to express. Teardrops' is my debut album (released in January 2013). I have waited a long time recording it. For years the songs and emotions have been on a shelf, but I didn't yet have the right sound and emotional tone to create completeness. Now I'm older and more experienced in life and music. This makes my music whole, this makes my music me.

Avril McDonald

Avril McDonald is a country writer and musician from New Zealand. Her music taps into the wild woman in us all!

When Kiwi songwriter Avril McDonald met a cowboy under Montana's Big Sky, it was the stuff of country dreams—until he rode off, leaving her heart broken and branded for life. So, she did what any wild-hearted woman would do: she wrote a song about it. "Big Sky" is a rooting tooting, boot-stompin', soul-baring anthem to fierce love, fearless living, and the divine feminine unleashed. You'll laugh, cry, and maybe even fall in love with the cowboy yourself. Saddle up, this one's worth the ride.

Bobby Shots

Bobby Shots delivers a genre-bending anthem with "Bayou Anything," blending Southern grit, country swagger, and an infectious pop-rap cadence that's already turning heads. With over 6,000 streams in the last 28 days and placement on multiple trending playlists, including Country Mix 2024, this track has proven cross-market appeal. Bobby's voice cuts through with confidence and originality, while the hook begs for repeat plays. Listeners are calling it 'addictive', 'authentic', and 'impossible to skip'.

Bobby Shots is a rising indie powerhouse, charting in Portugal, playing on Brazilian radio, and surging in Mexico, all without a label.
A songwriter who is just listening to the voices in his head, Bobby is weaponizing technology to meticulously craft every track with unfiltered emotion, razor-sharp wit, and fearless experimentation. Every release is a new dimension, every song a deeper dive into his world.

His music bends genres without breaking integrity- melding the pulse of hip-hop, the emotion of rock, the swagger of country, and the grit of underground storytelling. Whether it’s a high-energy anthem or a slow-burning confessional, Bobby Shots delivers music that’s unpredictable, unforgettable, and always genuine.

With full control over his lyrics, compositions, and performances, Bobby owns every note he creates- independent, self-driven, sometimes artificially intelligent and always unapologetically original.

Welcome to The Mind of Bobby. You’ve never heard anything like this before.

Jasmine Tea

The one and only John Sebastian (Lovin' Spoonful) is a fan a Jasmine Tea and has played on a few of our songs. Jasmine Tea decided to honor him by doing a cover of one of his songs, "Magical Connection"... and they even named their 6th album after it.

This album shows the diversity of Jasmine Tea with alternative rock songs like "I Want to Live on Mars" to the gentle ballad of "Come As You Were". In between those two is the Eagles-like opening song called "I'd Hate to Think I'm Falling In Love".

Jasmine Tea was christened in a study hall back in DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, NJ by three of the original members: Bob Stritch, Michael Strong, and Rich DeClemente.  There was no flaming pie or vision, just someone drinking Jasmine Tea.  The journey began in New Jersey, and has since traversed the East coast from Martha's Vineyard to Florida.  Their music touches on a variety of genres, so it’s hard to say what defines them.  Some of the songs are of the singer/songwriter variety with catchy melodies, while others lean on retro roots rock with bluesy guitar riffs.  Check out the guitar in “Hauling That Cross” or “Having Too Much Love”, and you’ll definitely hear the blues influence.  Contrast that with the beautiful vocals, strings, and classical guitar of “Audrey” – and you will have discovered both sides of Jasmine Tea.  But wait! Then there's the dog songs, “My One Best Friend”, which was chosen to open the 2022 New York City Dog Film Festival and “MacGregor the Scot” which will premier in the 2023 Film Festival (who knew there was a film festival about dogs?).  Their most popular recording is “Just A Little” with over 45,000 streams in the first two months of its release.

What makes their music so varied and interesting is the wide array of influences that each member brings with him.  Drummer Rich DeClemente studied jazz in college, but is just as likely to listen to Frank Sinatra or Herb Albert when he isn’t playing Steve Gadd drum fills to Steely Dan.  Michael Strong, the band’s other music major, lists Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the R&B of Curtis Mayfield for his influences.  Bob Stritch (aka Bones) is more of a James Taylor and Bruce Cockburn guy.  Bassist Bob Short (aka The Babe) credits The Beatles as his first influence but is quick to praise the current day Indie music, especially fanclubwallet and Backseat Lovers. So travel with Jasmine Tea on a musical excursion into the rhythm and rhyme of elegance.  They are a song band, a quartet of one, honed to each other's sonar in pursuit of a simple mission: make good songs.

They Were Legends

They Were Legends" is a super group from St. Louis, Missouri that creates soulful music across various genres. The group was formed in late 2021 by Roddric Ward (aka Rip James) and Terrance Waffer (aka Thrush) while recording their second song at J-Crazy Entertainment. They quickly realized they needed additional sounds to satisfy their fans, so they invited Darian Wilson (aka Professor Payne) to add drums to their songs. Soon after, Payne joined the group, and Thrush reached out to Matthew Kury (aka Kury Bass) to add the bass guitar to the group. By mid-2023, the group was complete and deep in the recording of their debut album, self-titled "They Were Legends." With everyone on board and the album near completion, Thrush and Kury, already well-known in the local St. Louis music scene, started using all of their connections to secure the spotlight for the band.

John Calvin and The Barnstormers

Having signed with Rock Sun Records/Virgin Music Group this is John's second release.

"Pike County Coal" is a poignant blend of country and blues that captures the heart-wrenching story of a man reflecting on a life spent in the coal mines. As he faces the weight of grief after losing his wife and watching his children grow and move on. He now finds himself buried in the struggles of his past as well as that very mine. With soulful melodies and raw, emotional lyrics, this song resonates deeply with listeners who understand the toll of hard work and loss.

Andy Plews

His first album, The Macclesfield Years reflects his broad influences and tells a range of diverse stories, real and imagined. Growing up in, and leaving behind his hometown; an ode to a friend who experienced a broken neck; Return Ticket, the true story of a suffragette; a Japanese Fable that is just that and no more; and 10-Advil Day, a cautionary tale of love, loss and Ibuprofen. Andy collaborates with a range of artists including his old friend in Scotland Pete Rawlinson, and the emerging NYC producer Marco Lamas. Andy takes a meticulous approach to his song arrangements and works with some of the most talented young session musicians in New York.

In its review of 10 Advil Day, the music blog Expansion Radial notes: “It’s like reading a personal journal filled with pages of pain, regret and acceptance. He has managed to capture those difficult moments in life with an honesty that is moving. If you are looking for a song that combines rock with a touch of country and blues, press play and let this story envelop you” Andy is currently crafting a follow-up album and plans to release a new single early in 2025.

Jonathan & Jon Gideon

Imagine the crystal-clear sounds of acoustic instruments played skillfully in the outdoors and voices echoing across the fields or hollows from makeshift arbors. Music and teachings that rang out messages of hope, redemption and a promise of an eternal reward. This was the foundation for what is known today as American Roots Music. The music and teachings from these brush arbor meetings were handed down from generation to generation across the southland and have spawned many of the churches we see today. Many great musicians have learned from this style of music and Jonathan Causey is no exception. For 35 years, he has ministered across the country sharing his love for the LORD through his music and has remained prepared to be a willing servant for CHRIST.

After the death of his wife, Tammy Sullivan, in 2017, Jonathan was in a new season of his life that required prayer and time apart from the music ministry. During that time, the LORD spoke to him and told him emphatically, “I have given you everything you need.” As he turned, there stood young Jon Gideon. Jon Gideon has been willing and eager to cultivate his GOD given talents and follow in the footsteps of both the Causey and Sullivan families. Under the direction of his father, Jonathan Causey, Jon Gideon has studied guitar and vocals, learning the music of the talented generations that came before him. The Causey name is synonymous with gospel music throughout southern Louisiana. Since the early 1900’s, the Causey family members were singing in churches, at brush arbor meetings or any makeshift place where folks could come together to worship the LORD.

At seventeen years old, Jonathan began traveling, sharing the music and the ministry, always remaining true to his gospel roots. And now, he shares that experience with his partner and son, Jon Gideon, carrying on the mission and the ministry of the family with fervor and conviction. Jon Gideon has not only excelled as a talented musician but is also a walking miracle and a perfect example of GOD’s healing grace. In 2004, Jon Gideon was born with spina bifida and has exceeded all medical expectations. In 2019, Jon Gideon, at the age of fifteen, was presented with an award from the state of Alabama for excelling in his health, education and music. Congratulations to Jonathan and Jon Gideon on their new project and the debut of their first CD together.

“The Greatest Story” Featuring a compilation of songs filled with a message of redemption and eternal life in CHRIST. Original songs, written mostly by Jon Gideon’s grandfather, Jerry Sullivan, and country music artist, Marty Stuart, seem like old timeless hymns yet they are brand new. We pray that they will be a blessing to you. Invite Jonathan and Jon Gideon to your church, your festival or revival. They will tell the story that will bless you and lift your spirits in the old time, brush arbor way with an amazing style of harmony that only family can produce.

Chris Chitsey

Native Texan, Chris Chitsey, made a name for himself on the competitive, Texas honky-tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level in the early 2000’s. His smooth evocative voice and energetic stage presence quickly established Chris as one of the latest Texas exports to find national acclaim. Rooted in the smooth Texas country style, Chris began his music career, as a high schooler, on the stage of his father’s Bar-B-Q restaurant and entertainment venue in the heart of Austin, Texas. Raised on a steady diet of George Strait, Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley & Alan Jackson; Chris’ future had taken shape.

After becoming the main attraction in Central Texas throughout his college years, Chris inked his first record deal two years into his college career at Southwest Texas State University. His self-titled debut album had three songs hit the national charts, including "At A Time Like This," "John Wayne Rides Again" and "With A Body Like That," which held 18 weeks on the CMT and GAC Top 10 Countdowns. He followed that with two more #1’s, “Superstitious Heart” & “Just Don’t Know It Yet.” This music is available for download or streaming. Chris has teamed up again with Nashville producer, D. Scott Miller, to record a brand-new project that promises to be his best work yet! Chris’ first single/video from the new project, “Last Time I Saw You,” (written by Rob Martin & Frank Maroney) reached number one on both the Euro Indie Music Hot 100 charts and the World Indie Music Charts. It hit number 11 in the New Country Weekly Charts and at number 14 on the Country Music Channel in the U.S. His second single, “Life Is Hard, Whiskey is Easy” releases to over 180 countries on worldwide radio on January 15, 2024. Sami Jo

Sami Jo has had a pen in her hand since day 1 and picked up a guitar to accompany her writing by the time she reached high school. She moved to Nashville, TN out of college and developed a name for herself around town, notoriously writing all the personal, gut wrenching details of life and disguising them with pretty, catchy melodies.

When you hear a Sami Jo song, artists like Noah Kahan, Colbie Caillat, and Kacey Musgrave may come to mind. Though her writing styles vary, her artistry stays true to her folk pop/americana roots. Sami Jo’s move to Nashville began with a simple email on November 1, 2015 with a return sender: The Bluebird Cafe. Although famously known for their long audition process, the legendary music venue personally reached out to Sami Jo inviting her to play a Sunday Writer’s Night. Since that date, she has been recognized as NSAI’s “Ones to Watch,” has won the #1 song in SUSC International Songwriting competition, and a top 12 finalist in American Country Star worldwide competition.

Though new to releasing music, her latest single, “Black & White Reality” hit 22k streams in the first 3 months with the top countries: United States and United Kingdom. She regularly plays to packed audiences in Nashville and in the past year she has led a successful International tour through England and Ireland where she performed on iconic stages including The Cavern Club, The Jacaranda, The Adelphi Hotel, and more. When Sami Jo is not touring Internationally, she is Nashville’s beloved host of “Sams Jams” bi-weekly writers round at the prestigious Virgin Hotel on Music Row. She uses her networking and promotion skills to provide a platform for nearly 800 artists per year to share their original music with industry professionals.
