Summertime in Leith features legendary Canadian jazz musicians, bassist Paul Novotny and pianist, Oscar Peterson protégé Robi Botos in a visceral auditory experience that transports you to a picturesque Ontario hamlet, on a balmy, midsummer evening, in the middle of a jewel-like sanctuary of an historic Canadian church, surrounded by local folks engrossed in the moment.

Summertime in Leith presents an exciting impromptu performance by bassist Paul Novotny and pianist Robi Botos, (Oscar Peterson protégé), two legendary Canadian jazz musicians who want nothing more than to share in the exhilaration of the moment. “Summertime in Leith is sonic electricity.”

Mauricio Yrivarren

Madrid-based singer-songwriter Mauricio Yrivarren aka Binary Drift releases the uplifting pop/rock Christmas single "Smile". "Smile" is the third single of Binary Drift's second album "Mortido". According to Mauricio, 'Smile is a Rock/Pop song that captures the excitement of living life at its fullest, without any fears, as long as you have love in your heart. I went through a period where I hadn’t realized that happiness had always been there for the taking. Looking back, I think it was a side effect of the Covid pandemic and the lockdowns. Shortly after the confinement restrictions were lifted in Madrid, the line 'the joy of being alive / no one’s got the right to take it back' popped into my head. It felt as if the universe had sent it for me to use as the foundation for a song.'

Honeypot

Honeypot is the passion project of Frank Hartman, a guitar-slinging lawyer by day, and a rockstar by night. The band is based out of Charleston, South Carolina, but is casting its net upon the wider world with its new release of, On the B Side ReBorn. Here find the new, improved, for a limited time only, ascendant product of three years of blood, sweat, and tears.

We made On The B Side ReBorn in the fiery chasms of Mount Doom with the assistance of the aptly named Apocalypse Studios hailing from Guernsey, England. We took the battered bits of a previous offering and looked at it in a new light and remixed it with their assistance. Out of the darkness came light and the music took on a new shape. Something we dreamed of as boys. Something timeless. Then we made a bargain with Devil, making use of mastering provided by LANDR. Artificial Intelligence that will eventually replace us as makers of music smoothed the few rough edges left over from the master mixing.

We present On the B Side ReBorn to world on the 6th of May, 2022. There was a tickler release of "Over the Line" as a single on May the Fourth Be With You. There is more to come.

George Dooley

George Dooley is a singer songwriter who has been playing and performing for over twenty years. He had always been frustrated in trying to get his songs produced. About two years ago he discovered the virtual world of music production, and he has never looked back. In just under two years, he already has four songs under license with Alcon Sleeping Giant (“ASG”), the music licensing arm of Alcon Entertainment, and another with Figure & Groove, a publishing house out of NY. His reputation as a lyricist continues to grow and his songs are generally fun and include great stories and clever lyrics. His catalog continues to grow, and he hopes his songs bring some joy. He also would welcome the opportunity to connect with recording artists who want to further bring his songs to life.

Claudia Campagnol

Claudia Campagnol's voice is extremely powerful, yet warm and soulful. She takes inspiration from jazz, pop, soul, and R&B, showcasing a stunning flair for improvisation and vocal arrangements.

Claudia Campagnol has a deep-rooted affection for jazz fusion, and she has achieved great success on the jazz scene in Denmark as well as abroad. Her debut album "I'm Strong" (2019) was nominated for Danish Music Awards Jazz in two categories: 'Best Vocal Album' and 'Best New Act', and received excellent reviews worldwide.

But for a while, Claudia has considered trying her hand at other genres.

With her single "Dance With Me" (2020) – inspired by names like Chaka Khan and Sade – Claudia stepped into a funky pop/R&B world that suits her amazingly.

In February 2021, Claudia released the beautiful love ballad Abracadabra, with which she participated in 'Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2021' (the Danish pre-selection for ‘Eurovision Song Contest’).

In March 2021, the super catchy "Do You Love Me (Dance Edit)" was released – and with an ongoing desire to challenge herself, she continues down the Pop/R&B/Soul path with "Everything's OK" (June 2021), "Confused" (May 2022) and the latest release "Love You All The Way".

Judith Owen

Welsh singer and performer Judith Owen is releasing her new album, "Come On & Get It", via Twanky Records, together with a charming, burlesque-infused new video for "Tess's Torch Song". The video was filmed at the Toulouse Theatre in New Orleans, featuring the bow-tie "Loving Big Band".

Delicious, delightful, bodacious, brave, insightful, seductive and fun - just some of the many adjectives one might use to describe Judith Owen's fascinating and alluring new album.

Owen, a now New Orleans native who originally hails from Wales, conceived of the project as a result of her childhood fascination with the jazz music of some of the ballsiest women of the Jazz and Blues world, including unsung trailblazers Nellie Lutcher and Julia Lee whom she discovered hidden on the shelves of her father's record collection alongside the likes of Oscar Peterson and Jelly Roll Morton. Captivated and enchanted by these "unapologetic" chanteuses of the 40's/50's (Pearl Bailey, Dinah Washington, Blossom Dearie, Peggy Lee, Julie London), who were singing about sex - and enjoying it at a time when women were meant to sing about romance - Owen made it her mission to dig deep and find out more from both a musical and historical perspective. The result is "Come On & Get It," the most joyful, uplifting, and empowering project to emerge out of Covid; a throw-back with a fresh feel complete with a look and style that speaks of all those delectable, hugely entertaining women who broke the glass ceiling with their shoe heels and were ever so proud of it!

Recorded at Esplanade Studios in New Orleans, "Come On & Get It" features a stellar cast of musicians, including Jason Marsalis, Donald Harrison, Charlie Gabriel, Nicholas Payton, David Torkanowsky, Kevin Louis...
