Apryl was born in 2000 in Ticino, Switzerland. At around the age of seven, she began singing in a choir and later participated in numerous singing competitions across various European countries, always sharing her passion with her family. For Apryl, singing represents a realm of freedom, a way to express deep emotions and feelings, especially through the lyrics of her songs.

DiAngelis

Frank van Engelen (DiAngelis) has a rich career in music.

Starting at a young age on drums, he switched to bass guitar at 15. Eventually evolving into a multi-instrumentalist who knows his way on keyboards and guitar as well. Despite his talent and love for music, he initially didn't pursue a professional music career. However, when approached by the producer of the Dutch act Gare de Nord, founded by Ferdi Lancee (composer, guitarist) and Barend Fransen (co-founder), he decided to take on the role of bass guitarist. Gare du Nord expanded beyond a studio act with live performances, becoming highly successful with a unique blend of jazz, pop, and lounge. Van Engelen spent eight years with the band, contributing to three studio albums.

Frank is inspired by acts like Toto, Level 42, Boz Scaggs, and artists like Jeff Porcaro and Mark King. The duo Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, better known as Steely Dan, serve as the perfect example for Van Engelen's approach.

Jonathan & Jon Gideon

Imagine the crystal-clear sounds of acoustic instruments played skillfully in the outdoors and voices echoing across the fields or hollows from makeshift arbors. Music and teachings that rang out messages of hope, redemption and a promise of an eternal reward. This was the foundation for what is known today as American Roots Music. The music and teachings from these brush arbor meetings were handed down from generation to generation across the southland and have spawned many of the churches we see today. Many great musicians have learned from this style of music and Jonathan Causey is no exception. For 35 years, he has ministered across the country sharing his love for the LORD through his music and has remained prepared to be a willing servant for CHRIST. 

After the death of his wife, Tammy Sullivan, in 2017, Jonathan was in a new season of his life that required prayer and time apart from the music ministry. During that time, the LORD spoke to him and told him emphatically, “I have given you everything you need.” As he turned, there stood young Jon Gideon. Jon Gideon has been willing and eager to cultivate his GOD given talents and follow in the footsteps of both the Causey and Sullivan families. Under the direction of his father, Jonathan Causey, Jon Gideon has studied guitar and vocals, learning the music of the talented generations that came before him. The Causey name is synonymous with gospel music throughout southern Louisiana. Since the early 1900’s, the Causey family members were singing in churches, at brush arbor meetings or any makeshift place where folks could come together to worship the LORD. 

At seventeen years old, Jonathan began traveling, sharing the music and the ministry, always remaining true to his gospel roots. And now, he shares that experience with his partner and son, Jon Gideon, carrying on the mission and the ministry of the family with fervor and conviction. Jon Gideon has not only excelled as a talented musician but is also a walking miracle and a perfect example of GOD’s healing grace. In 2004, Jon Gideon was born with spina bifida and has exceeded all medical expectations. In 2019, Jon Gideon, at the age of fifteen, was presented with an award from the state of Alabama for excelling in his health, education and music. The Livesays

The Livesays are an accomplished five-piece Heartland/Americana band fronted by the band’s namesake critically acclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist Billy Livesay, who spent 12 years performing, recording and touring with E-Streeter Clarence Clemons' band "Temple of Soul." Chris Chitsey

Native Texan, Chris Chitsey, made a name for himself on the competitive, Texas honky-tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level in the early 2000’s. The Harbours

The Harbours are a dynamic indie-pop band known for their melodic tunes and heartfelt lyrics. Formed in 2024, the group has quickly gained a loyal following with their unique sound that blends modern indie vibes with classic pop influences. The band consists of lead vocalist Ollie Drakard and lead guitarist Will Massarella-Tyler. Will and Ollie met in their first year at University in 2020. They were locked down in halls due to the Corona-Virus restrictions. So, to pass the time, they would sing and play for hours with other music-loving friends. In 2016, after hitting some roadblocks with original music and deciding that playing in the cover/club scene was not in his heart, Tony Rossi wanted something new . Driven by the desire to form a band that brought together a unique mix of musicians, he began the long road to what would lead him to Changing Tymz . A journey that required time and patience as the right band would be born in the collaboration of musicians, willing to prove their passion, musical talent, faith, direction and ability to work together as an integral and equal piece of the process . The original line-up itself would take over 3 years . During this same time period, guitarist Timmy Wysong was looking to find an accomplished drummer to join his former band. Connecting through a music search, Tony submitted an audition piece for the band at Timmy’s request. Although things didn’t work out for the initial project, Tony and Timmy discovered a respect for each other’s talents and decided to begin collaboration . Adding vocalist Matt Martin to the group, the band was now beginning to take shape and the direction of the band’s sound became clear . 

Originally striving for a heavier and darker sound, the addition of Matt’s voice and unique style allowed them to dig deeper in the roots of true metal, and melodic fashion to create a mix of modern and classical metal . All the while, bass player Bryan McQuade was also looking for a solid commitment in an original project. When Changing Tymz and Bryan crossed paths the band asked him to submit an original bassline for the song "Stand Up" . Taking his chances, Bryan sat down to write, submitted a piece … and a bass player was found . Now at four members strong, all that was needed was another guitarist to add to the line-up . Knowing whoever it was needed to be the right fit, after several auditions and more than a year later, the band finally welcomed Eric Fenton in November of 2019 . Five talented musicians, having never met before, all from different backgrounds, cemented by desire and passion for the music is what made this line-up work so well, they officially released their 5 track EP in February of 2020. January of 2021, Changing Tymz and Matt Martin parted ways and the search for a new vocalist was launched. 

Again finding the perfect committed fit would take time. After an extensive search and tryout, Joann E Wolfe and Changing Tymz began working on new material, and the melodies and songs just came together like magic. The line-up was again complete. In late July of 2022, they had their 1st release which was the song used for the story-line video later released February 3rd 2023, titled "Shark Attack" During this time, due to unforeseen circumstances, Changing Tymz and Eric Fenton parted ways and again a new search began. Working through almost 70 applicants, Brian Weber proved to be the perfect fit and accepted the 2nd guitarist position on February 5th 2023. Brian is aggressively working on all the songs for the full length 11 track release that we hope to have out in late April. In-addition there is a surprise single to be released in March! Since the original EP was released Changing Tymz, holding true to the name, has had changes. 

Joann Wolfe on vocals and Brian Weber on guitar have given the band a new sound. To show case the changes we will follow the 11 track release with an updated, re-recorded-mixed/mastered, version of the original 5 track EP!! Best of Tape Five

Here comes a “Best of Tape Five” collection with swinging tracks they recorded between 2010 and 2023. These songs gained millions of streams on the usual platforms, and were included on and inspired hundreds of compilation CDs.

As their older CD albums are out of stock now, Tape Five decided not to re-press those but instead have bundled their favourite and best known Swing tracks on this edition, which is of course also available for streaming.

In 20 years Tape Five has released a variety of cool retro genres from Lounge to Electroswing – and in between performed live around the world from South America to Asia.

With new ideas they are currently working on their ninth album, and Tape Five will also release a “Best of... Lounge Edit” later this year.

Anouschka

Just in time for summer we present "Over Me" a breezy modern Bossa perfect for beach strolls and stargazing. Written, performed and produced by Anouschka in her home studio. Joining her on bass is Bruno Migliari from Brazil.

Anouschka says her purpose with song is to share “A place of peace and healing in an over-hyped world where we can just hang. Sometimes it’s okay not to resolve or go anywhere”.

Anouschka graduated Cum Laude from Berklee College in guitar and songwriting. At the time she was one of the few female guitar students. Anouschka has since maintained her narrative while writing, creating, arranging, performing and releasing her music with poetic lyrics and effortless blend of jazz, pop, blues and Kenyan influences.
