"The Way I See You" is Anouschka's first self produced song. At a crossroads in her music career, Anouschka began composing, recording and producing at home. It was getting too expensive to book studio time and musicians, and she wanted to explore a new sonic landscape with analog and digital sounds. Anouschka felt inspired by Sade's "Smooth Operator".
Like her other songs, Anouschka hopes "The Way I See You" will give the listener 'a place of peace and healing in an over-hyped world where we can just hang. Sometimes it’s okay not to resolve or go anywhere'.
