John & Nienke

What happens when a song stays with you all the time and you can’t get it out of your head…

It happened to John with the beautifull song “What do I know” written by Steven McClintock. So we dicided that we take the song into our studio, made our own version of it… so we did.

The song developed as we were working on it and we decided to make two versions. One version featuring Mark Lennon (from the band Venice) and the other version as a love duet between John & Nienke.

Destiny Band Oz

Destiny Band Oz is a multi-award winning duo comprising husband and wife singer-songwriters, Thomas and Tessa Libreri.

Their versatile music and vocal styles range from soulful ballads to pumpy, country rock; ('Country, Rock and Soul!) They have already released 3 albums and 2 EPs and are excited to have just released their new album of original songs with new producer, Damian Cafarella of EOR Studios called 'Who I Might Be'.

As children, Thomas and Tessa grew up in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Thomas in Reservoir and Tessa in Kilsyth. They were both musically inclined and tutored in music and singing. Thomas formed his first band at 12 playing bass guitar and had singing lessons from Normie Rowe.  He played in many bands over the years. Tessa performed in musicals, went to the Johnny Young Talent School and was classically trained by Suzanne Steele then with Audrey Duggan.

Thomas and Tessa met in a line-dancing country band based in Kinglake in 1996 which seemed like 'destiny' and they soon branched out on their own as a duo and later with various full band line-ups performing at clubs and functions. They married, had children and settled in Kinglake. They didn't perform much whilst their children were very young and then the horrific Black Saturday bushfires struck. Thomas and Tessa fought and saved their home and family and some of their neighbours but not all - and in the aftermath they decided to move their family away to Gippsland for a new start. (Thomas received a 'BM' - Bravery Medal from the Governor-General of Australia for his actions in saving a neighbour after the fire who sadly died a few weeks later in hospital) both Thomas and Tessa were heavily involved in the relief and rebuilding effort personally and through their building business at the time.

After moving to Gippsland, they devoted themselves to the activities of their primary school aged daughters, joined community groups and clubs in the area and soon found themselves performing full-on again. They decided to record an album of their original songs written over the years because of their life-changing experience and knowing how fragile life is, so it was more for posterity than anything but they were encouraged by local radio hosts who'd heard them perform their songs to release a song to radio, which they did in 2017.

Since then, they've had amazing #1 and Top 10 chart successes for their music and have amassed over a dozen major Australian and International awards.

Caroline Parke

" I wrote my first song in 2008, and have been jotting down lines in spurts and starts ever since. Most of the time I use real life experiences, using songwriting to revive all sorts of emotions. There are also songs where I completely make up the entire story line, allowing myself to just let go and dream for an afternoon! (Its a Great Escape!)

I am quite isolated on a farm in the middle of cattle country in western Canada. My daily interactions are with my husband and four young children, and my husband`s parents. Thank goodness for the internet, to allow for more visiting! I am always busy with cooking and cleaning and laundry and have a big garden each summer, preserving much of our food, and cooking (almost) every meal from scratch (if you need a recipe, just ask!).

It`s difficult to find any stretch of time to concentrate, but as my friend Tammy says, you can`t get diamonds without pressure. While I am sometimes overwhelmed with simple daily tasks, I find that my mind can often find a glimmer of a small crack, and squeezes out something refreshing, creative, and beautiful, through words and melody."

Tasha Hillman

Tasha Hillman is a young Indie singer and songwriter born and raised in kelowna b.c. She has always been involved in performing arts with dance her whole life. Though music has always been on her mind. The ability to capture a story in art is so beautiful. She discovered her passion for writing music when she was 16. Since then she has been cultivating songs daily about her experiences on this planet. One of her deepest moments of pain she turned into a song and knew in that moment she had to pursue this journey. Life throws us a lot of pain we don't always know how to handle. Songwriting and music has been this healing process that has helped me navigate the hardest parts of life. In every moment of pain and sadness I think we can still find beauty and hope. The songs I am writing hopefully will give that hope to people when they need it most. I want to remind everyone we are all connected and never alone. I want people to find pockets of sunshine when it feels like the rain will never stop. This world can feel too big but sometimes it feels too small and a single moment can change our reality.

The Hogtown Allstars

A new band of multi-award-winning not-so-new blues players are set to make their musical mark: The Hogtown Allstars have released their debut album today, Hog Wild, via Stony Plain Records.

Featuring eight new all-original songs, and two covers, Hog Wild was recorded throughout 2021 once the group nailed their first challenge: coordinating everyone’s schedule to hit the studio. It’s the first release for the undeniable supergroup that first started in 2013 as a collaborative, creative outlet for Toronto-based musicians dedicated to the genre.

As for ‘Allstars,’ they come by the moniker honestly; built with some of the most dynamic and experienced players on the global blues scene, the 7-piece adds up to Downchild Blues Band alum Chuck Jackson, Pat Carey, Gary Kendall, Jim Casson, and Tyler Yarema alongside Maple Blues Band alums Teddy Leonard and Howard Moore.

Their collective shelves are lined with more than 20+ Maple Blues Awards, five JUNO Awards, two Lifetime Achievement Awards, and countless international blues and jazz music awards.

Born into an overtly musical Welsh family, Judith Owen grew up in London surrounded by classical music, ballet, theatre, and the fine arts.  Owen was also exposed to many jazz icons and Broadway musicals that her parents loved (the mixture would become her signature sound).

Owen quickly began performing at a variety of different venues around London. Her unique hybrid of classical/jazz-influenced styled sound soon affirmed a regular slot at Ronnie Scotts.

Sarina Haggarty

Overcoming adversity has been part of Sarina Haggarty’s day-to-day for much of her life. So when a world-wide pandemic forced musicians to cancel gigs and stay home, Sarina did what she’s always done. She got down to work and collaborated with inspiration artists and producers. And rehearse. Then rewrite. Rehearse some more. Repeat.

No venue? No problem. Since the spring of 2020, Sarina has performed weekly to virtual audiences.
Familiar favourites and her latest singles were a welcome respite to music-loving fans around the world.
Between lockdowns, Sarina performed every live concert she could, and was especially happy to open for several CCMA events in London, Ontario.

As soon as she could, Sarina headed into the studio again where she’s recorded her latest songs with producers Moe Berg, Dan Brodbeck, Dylan Emmet, Alex Emrich, and Nick Fetchison.
Winner of the Slaight Communications Inc. MIA Artist Development Award and the FCLMA’s Fan Favourite, Sarina Haggarty works diligently at her craft and performance every single day. She grew up performing, so when she sang alongside Shawn Mendes and Make-A-Wish for 22,000 fans, it felt like coming home.

Sarina has shared the stage with Tim Hicks and Tyler Shaw, and she regularly uses her music to serve others in the community with her melodic stylings, thoughtfully crafted songs, and her wicked sense of humour.

Make-A-Wish, Bethany’s Hope, and London Health Sciences Centre are just a few of the charities Sarina supports with her music. A graduate of Fanshawe College’s Music Industry Arts Program, and with 2 EPs released, Sarina’s cross-over sound appeals to pop, indie, alternative and country audiences alike.
Her next album is scheduled for release in Summer 2022, and Sarina is more than ready to entertain live and in-person.

Sarina was a Make-A-Wish patient, and had the opportunity to perform an Original song at Quicken Loans Arena during a sold out Shawn Mendes concert in Cleveland. Her wish became an aspiration worldwide and as Make-A-Wish celebrated their 40th anniversary, a PSA was released with John Cena speaking and featured her angelic voice throughout the video recorded in LA.

Her music has gained attention from many in the music industry for her soulful songs that are beyond her years.
