Eddie Howell

"Man From Manhattan" was produced by Freddie Mercury. The track also features the Queen frontman on piano and vocals, as well as Brian May on guitar and Jerome Rimson on bass. This track was previously never released in major territories such as America and South America. Other tracks on the album feature guest appearances from Phil Collins, Gary Moore and Brand X among others. The album is available on vinyl, digital and Dolby Atmos.

Eddie Howell is a respected English musician and songwriter, having worked with Phil Collins, Gary Moore, Brand X, Freddie Mercury, and Brian May, among others. His songs have been covered by several well-known artists, including The Monkees, ABBA member Frida, and Jon Stevens whose recording of Eddie's song 'Jezebel' stayed at number 1 for 9 weeks in New Zealand.

The Flying Beets

 

 

Formed in late Spring of 2022, The Flying Beets' music showcases a maturity and depth that belies their short existence. Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Nathan Waller, a popular DFW-based singer-songwriter known for his extraordinary vocal range and powerful delivery, the band is rounded out by bassist DL Cross (The Troumatics) and drummer Kenn Scott (Birthday Suit, "Raphael" of the original 1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films).

 

Drawing on many rock influences, from The Beatles to Nirvana, the band's music combines catchy hooks, driving tempos, and a pop sensibility that can easily find a home on any indie-rock fan's playlist.  In conjunction with the recent Fall 2023 release of their first single, "Maybe Baby," The Flying Beets were nominated for "Best New Band" in Ft. Worth by Fort Worth Weekly Magazine.  The band continues to write, record, and perform, and look forward to the release of their debut EP in 2024.

Christopher Sluka first rose to prominence in New York City in the 1980s playing alongside bands like Tears For Fears and Simple Minds. In 1989 he put out his first full length album, the Meldac released Emotional Battlefield. Despite hailing from the United States he saw the most success in Japan and Europe. ​ ...but forget all that... ​ Sluka in its latest existence is reformed, reimagined, and perhaps the most exciting of its life. The latest album, Ready To Connect, is proof of their progressive, diverse, and eclectic style. Often difficult to describe, Sluka's sound aims to reinvent music, and blur the edges of genres. All Access Music warns not to oversimplify Sluka as rock, "the often lush, ethereal sounds are a juxtaposition of elements found in classical, pop, gothic, progressive and alternative rock, which has resulted in a very difficult-to-define genre all its own... RJ Archer & the Painful Memories

Primarily inspired by blues-influenced rock music from the 1960’s and 1970’s, RJ Archer & the Painful Memories were formed in July 2019 when Richard Archer (guitar, vocals) received a prize of some studio time in a songwriting competition. Two long-term friends Roger James and Ben Kingsbury agreed to help with the recording session, playing bass and drums respectively. The results were so good that they decided to make the band a permanent thing.

Recording with just a few days of studio time scheduled across the next two years, the band completed a debut album ‘Hot Mess’ in September 2021 to an enthusiastic critical response, with Rock & Roll Circus citing a “"A 60's R&B vibe, fused with a more contemporary feel" and Robs Raw Music hearing "Powerful and tough Blues/Rock and dare I say an infusion of punk"!

With acclaimed live sets at the Cambridge Salty Dog Blues Festival and Six Six Bar under their belts and a growing reputation as a killer live act, their second album ‘Horseplay!’ was released to more acclaim in September 2023 with Music For All proclaiming it as a “practically perfect album” and comparisons being drawn to everyone from MC5 to Grand Funk Railroad to Dr.Feelgood!!

The band have since expanded to a four piece with the addition of Marc Ritchie on drums and Ben moving to second guitar. They are currently working on new songs for a new album expected for release late 2024.

Rare Union

Rare Union has released their first release "Brother of Mine" again in honor of lead vocalist Max Soler who recently passed. "Brother of Mine" is a deeply personal album, featuring a daring mix of percussion-driven Blues Rock with reviling, soul baring, heartfelt vocals. The guitar work is fantastic, and fresh all original. The drums, percussion and Max Soler’s vocals make this release a must.

Rare Union, a band that came out of the pandemic with musicians from 5 different states found their first release “Bother of Mine" in the top 100 Blues Rock CDs on RMR charts for 2022. All original, Rare Union's "Brother of Mine" is incredible.
