The Flying Beets

Formed in late Spring of 2022, The Flying Beets' music showcases a maturity and depth that belies their short existence. Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Nathan Waller, a popular DFW-based singer-songwriter known for his extraordinary vocal range and powerful delivery, the band is rounded out by bassist DL Cross (The Troumatics) and drummer Kenn Scott (Birthday Suit, "Raphael" of the original 1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films), Drawing on many rock influences, from The Beatles to Nirvana, the band's music combines catchy hooks, driving tempos, and a pop sensibility that can easily find a home on any indie-rock fan's playlist. Gardenhead

Gardenhead's music can best be described as a mix of prog-rock and alternative metal. Not afraid to experiment, they incorporate everything from flamenco rhythms to stoner fuzz in their songs and although the band extends its branches to many genres, the songs are melodic and made with pop sensibilities in mind. The album blends heavy off-kilter riffs with atmospheric textures and dynamic vocal performances. The first single off of the album "The Ordeal" was mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, SkyHarbor). Grammy-winning sound engineer and producer Darrell Thorp (Foo Fighters, Radiohead) was so thrilled by the song that he wanted to mix a new version of it and use it as teaching material on his mixing academy course. The album has been streamed around 25 000 times in the first two weeks from release.

The gardening is done by Andy (drums), Eero (guitar), Antti (bass) and Jonne (vocals and guitar). Currently the fellas are getting ready for their spring and summer tour so stay tuned for that!

Andreas Aleman

 

 

Andreas Aleman is actually a fairly experienced musician, who has released records and made a lot of concerts. But due to various reasons, he has stayed in the "background". Now is the time to take the next step and reach the big audience... He took the first step in March 2023, when he secretly auditioned for ”Sweden Got Talent” at National TV4. It resulted in both a standing ovation and a GOLDEN BUZZER from the jury member Johanna Nordström. This took him straight to the final where he also put in an outstanding performance. Although he did not win, he was praised by the jury who were truly moved by Andrea's soulful singing and incredible voice.  Andreas Aleman was born and raised in Södertälje. 

 

Nowadays he lives in Gustavsberg outside Stockholm. When he was 3 years old, he started playing piano and writing simple songs. His parents' taste in music was contagious and after school he used to rush home to listen to their records. This exposed him to Soul, Funk, Blues & Gospel music and it influenced both his musical taste and future musical style. As a 12-year-old, he got to play with a rock band that consisted of his 4-year-old brother and his friends. Andreas played in various bands during his adolescence and attended a 3-year high school program and at the age of 16, he began working as a musician but also as a bandmaster in various bands and for a lot of gospel choirs. Andreas was, among other things, a pianist in the start-up (and a few years later) of the Tensta Gospel Choir in 1996 together with a choir director. 

 

This was started as a project with the aim of working for integration between young people from different cultures. There is no doubt that Andreas has one of Sweden's most beautiful soul voices. He has a capacity to get an entire audience totally wild, for in the next moment, calmly touch them for real. He stands for musical quality at all levels. The sound is a fantastic mix of soul, funk, R&B, West Coast and gospel. The voice, the songs and the feeling in the music have caused many to compare Andreas with some of the greatest. He has released 4 albums and various singles with self-written music. Andreas has also written musics for artists as Laura Pausini, Gary Valenciano and others and on the single "Celebrate The Season" he sings a duet with the American soul star and five-time Grammy winner, Michael McDonald. He has performed in Sweden, Europe and the USA at various clubs and festivals.

Homeless Radio

Homeless Radio is a Ukrainian indie rock band, formed in Kharkiv, in 2016. The band is composed of singer/guitarist Andrew Yampolskiy, lead guitarist Fedor Orlov, bassist Ivan Trikoza and drummer Ivan Orlov. The band's music style represents a mixture of garage rock, alternative rock, and pop music, sometimes adding features of other music genres.
During 2017-2019 the band had active concert activity, especially in the Kharkiv district. Homeless Radio has been participating in the 'Kharkiv Music Day' open-air festival since 2017.

In 2018 Homeless Radio released their 2 demos 'I Don't Care' and 'Cackler' on Soundcloud, which had a positive reaction from their listeners.

At the start of 2021 Homeless Radio joined Sunset Alliance indie label. On May 18, 2021, the band released their first EP called The Truth on all music platforms.

In 2022, the band released its new single About You on May 3. Due to the Russian invention, the band became separated across Ukraine for an undetermined time. The lead singer Andrew had been living in the occupied town of Izyum for three months without any electricity, gas, water, and standard comforts. The release of the song is aimed at supporting him.
After a prolonged hiatus, the band returned with a fresh skate/garage punk single Submarine, an energetic tribute to Richard Ayoade's film and Joe Dunthorne's novel with the same title, which was released on January 9! The team was updated with a bass player from Kharkiv Stepan Tkachuck, while Ihor joined the Ukrainian army. The latest single will was dedicated to him! The tune received shoutouts from Joe Dunthorne and Gordon Raphael, the first producer of legendary The Strokes!

As they begin a monumental new chapter, Homeless Radio are here with their electrifying new single, 'SleepNot', released July 2nd. Get ready to dive into the raw, punky, heavy energy of this summer.

Amber Elara

 

Amber Elara is an alternative rock / pop artist from Liverpool, she is a multi-instrumentalist but is classically trained in piano and has been singing and songwriting for 10 years. The 23 year old takes influences from Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin etc…

Her first single ‘Heart’ is inspired by the likes of Pink Floyd and Jeff Buckley. Amber plays piano, synths and keytar and puts a unique, modern twist on the genre. Amber has been playing the piano since she was 8 year old, she initially was trained in classical music and as she grew up she fell in love with Rock and settled into her own style, combining the technical elements of classical music with the raw emotion and grit of Rock n Roll. 

Ambers work and education has always followed a musical path, she studied music at college and uni and received a Ba (Hons) degree in music performance at LMA University and has worked as a self employed musician and piano teacher ever since.
