Sarina Haggarty

Overcoming adversity has been part of Sarina Haggarty’s day-to-day for much of her life. So when a world-wide pandemic forced musicians to cancel gigs and stay home, Sarina did what she’s always done. She got down to work and collaborated with inspiration artists and producers. And rehearse. Then rewrite. Rehearse some more. Repeat.

No venue? No problem. Since the spring of 2020, Sarina has performed weekly to virtual audiences.
Familiar favourites and her latest singles were a welcome respite to music-loving fans around the world.
Between lockdowns, Sarina performed every live concert she could, and was especially happy to open for several CCMA events in London, Ontario.

As soon as she could, Sarina headed into the studio again where she’s recorded her latest songs with producers Moe Berg, Dan Brodbeck, Dylan Emmet, Alex Emrich, and Nick Fetchison.
Winner of the Slaight Communications Inc. MIA Artist Development Award and the FCLMA’s Fan Favourite, Sarina Haggarty works diligently at her craft and performance every single day. She grew up performing, so when she sang alongside Shawn Mendes and Make-A-Wish for 22,000 fans, it felt like coming home.

Sarina has shared the stage with Tim Hicks and Tyler Shaw, and she regularly uses her music to serve others in the community with her melodic stylings, thoughtfully crafted songs, and her wicked sense of humour.

Make-A-Wish, Bethany’s Hope, and London Health Sciences Centre are just a few of the charities Sarina supports with her music. A graduate of Fanshawe College’s Music Industry Arts Program, and with 2 EPs released, Sarina’s cross-over sound appeals to pop, indie, alternative and country audiences alike.
Her next album is scheduled for release in Summer 2022, and Sarina is more than ready to entertain live and in-person.

Sarina was a Make-A-Wish patient, and had the opportunity to perform an Original song at Quicken Loans Arena during a sold out Shawn Mendes concert in Cleveland. Her wish became an aspiration worldwide and as Make-A-Wish celebrated their 40th anniversary, a PSA was released with John Cena speaking and featured her angelic voice throughout the video recorded in LA.

Her music has gained attention from many in the music industry for her soulful songs that are beyond her years.

Justin Curran

‘Strange Kind Of Blue’ is the latest release from Justin Curran. The Northern Irish singer-songwriter drops his country-infused single in line with the promise he made to himself a few years back: to release new music every few months going forward.

Hailing from Belfast, Curran grew up listening to the likes of Paul Weller, The Style Council and The Jam, and was in and out of various Britpop bands throughout the 90s and early 2000s in Ireland and the UK. On this track, he hones in very distinctly on his inimitable alternative country-rock sound – ‘Strange Kind Of Blue’ is carried by jangly guitar riffs and shaker-infused percussion, with a splattering of bluesy, Dylan-esque lyrics and delicate harmonica over top.

The multitalented musician plays bass, guitar, harmonica and Hammond organ on the track – recorded out of his own studio where he currently resides in the Alps. Curran explains his history of do-it-your-self recording: “After working as a photographer in Spain, I moved back to the UK in 2012 and set up a recording studio in my living room when the kids were at school”. It proved good at-home therapy during a difficult patch in his life. Curran adds that his music is shaped by the cloudy colours he sees when writing, visualising this single as an unmistakable “hazy blue.”

The Belfast musician has been on the touring circuit since the early 2010s, touring an album around the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland, bagging live sessions on BBC Introducing Jersey with his JC & The Loony Tunes outfit along the way. They headlined festivals alongside The Levelers and The Charlatans, and after disbanding in 2018, Curran returned to Belfast to work alongside the former drummer of Paul Weller’s band Ben Gordelier on the production of ‘Strange Kind Of Blue’. Gordelier provides crisp percussion, shakers and soft Hammond organ that speak perfectly to the smogginess of the track.
